Primary source of abilities that provide healing.
Those who were supposedly more deeply connected reported vague impressions that they believed to have resonated from the heart of the planet itself. Little information is known about this phenomenon, most being speculative.

The primary source of most arcane magic.
The means by which those, with proper attunement, reach new levels.

Society
The Races of the era include: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Halflings, and less commonly other races such as Dragonborn, or Tabaxi;
Humans were still by far the most common race in most kingdoms.
All races had roughly the same lifespan about ~100 years as an upper limit.
Technology
Other races introduced technology such as plumbing, magic water-heating, and ways to copy written works quickly. This started a surge of many technological developments.
Magic items were fairly common in Aulig at this time, although still valuable enough that
most people couldn't easily afford one.
Magic
Magic Users were somewhat uncommon among non-Elven races, though many other races soon began showing signs of magical aptitude.
Similarly, Humans tended to more commonly have a higher connection with Stability, until some years later.
The Yarisugi were thought to have been completely expended; and had were typically referred to in a mythological sense.
The Fissure
The terms "Rift" and "Fissure" were often used interchangeably; referring to the nearly mile wide, and several mile long, deep canyon that was carved into the Northern Aon Plains over 300 years ago.
